![]() ![]() Don't let the shiny surfaces fool you.Īnother thing is that it might look better when actually played. It seems like some people think that without those filters Prodeus would look like a AAA modern game which I very much doubt is the case. Not to mention the assets are not as high quality as it might seem (just look at the screenshots and how low-res the textures are) and are probably made with pixelization in mind. Removing it would completely alter the intended look that's based on simulating technical limitations. They might add a way to tweak it but you have to realize that the entire aesthetic relies on pixelization and jerky animations. That's actually the first thing that caught my attention when I first saw it. Check out the effects on those crushers.Īll I can say is that I personally like this graphical direction. And hopefully we'll see other environments as well but this is the first look at the game so we'll just have to wait and see.Īlso for those interested, here are some extra gameplay gifs from their site. ![]() The HUD in particular is way too big and there's no real point in simulating the helmet because it just obstructs the vision. With that said I hope they add some options to fine-tune all of those things. People complain about the resolution but one has to wonder if making it a proper 1080p would render this sprite-like movement obsolete because it'd look weird with 3D models that actually look like 3D models. My favourite thing is how they're using actual 3D models but limiting the frame-per-second rate of their animations which in combination with the low resolution creates this interesting jerky movement without being limited to the 8 sides of the sprite because, well, those are not sprites to begin with. I'm not really opposed to the pixelization effect considering this is how I play Dusk: Blasting enemies with a shotgun seems really satisfying and explosions look really neat. Do you really think there is reliability? I'd rather leave the fish to the cat than trust someone like that kind of person.I really like the effects that they have in this game. LOLĪs you can see, if you want to show endless pride due to the difficulty, shouldn't speed runners who beat the UN several times, including me, do it first?īut who mentioned it first in this discussion? It's mentioned by someone who got a VAC ban on Steam, who wouldn't get a VAC ban for the average player. ![]() I am more reliable than that person.Īnd did you say that I won the UN not only once, but many times? During that time, I couldn't find any shortcomings in the game, so maybe I'm a blind person without eyes. And I've already uploaded a long video on YouTube. And most of the Doom gamers know that the UN also has a trick. I'm also included in that, but I can't find any criticism of the game. So many people say they've beaten the UN. I don't understand what kind of pride they are using for game criticism. I'm very excited about this game, but it's sad to see someone in the community with a ridiculous hipster temperament.Īdditionally, I also won the UN. Serious Sam 4 said it would take over the classic, but after the release, would you believe if it has a skill point system like Doom Reboot, Doom Eternal, Rage 2, and Wolfenstein series? I've tried a lot of indie FPS, Doom Reboot, Doom Eternal, but I can't deny that the Doom Reboot series inherits the advantages of classic Doom. Someone boasted of winning the UN, but it's not convincing to say that with a VAC banned account. Was there a jump in the classic Doom? Why is this game following the classic system, but there is an arena that blocks enemies in the form of waves? Was Akimbo possible in classic Doom? Was there a reload in the classic Doom? Can you explain why it doesn't come out as it was in the original? Would you say that it just changed according to the changes of the times? Yes, but let's think about this without the mode. ![]()
